Nausea and weight loss in teenagers: an “acute” diagnosis

A 14 years old girl was admitted for weight loss and recurrent nausea, worsened after appendectomy. Clinical and instrumental examinations revealed a rare syndrome, successfully treated conservatively. This report focus attention about not underrate non-specific symptoms that could underlie rare condition, role of conservative treatment and multidisciplinary approach.
