Since the post-pandemic period, there has been an increase in the incidence of eating disorders and a lowering of the age of onset. Early identification and early treatment of EDs are associated with a better outcome. The article aims to give general guidelines on management, providing a guide to the “redflags” to pay attention to, both on a pediatric and neuropsychiatric level, in developmental age.
