Esophageal atresia (EA) with or without trachea-esophageal fistula is a rare life-threatening congenital anomaly. Innovation in neonatological and surgical treatments completely modify outcomes, with a survival rate now exceeding 90%. Nonetheless, long term sequelae are frequently diagnosed: esophageal dysmotility, gastroesophageal reflux, growth retardation and respiratory impairment are the most frequently described problems in the first 2 years of life.
