The ESPGHAN has become a cultural and professional reference for all pediatric gastroenterologists, not only in Europe. In London, at the last ESPGHAN congress, China and India were in the top ten countries that have contributed with abstracts, to confirm the overall impact that the ESPGHAN has all over the world. Respect to the training, many courses and “summer schools” are now performed outside the European continent. Particular attention has given to young people, with the strategic objective to form a new group of leaders who will guide the ESPGHAN in few years. The “Career Development Workshop”, the “Trainee Committee”, the “working groups” are only some of the initiatives that can drive young people in the Pediatric Gastroenterology training, and important incentives to sign up to the ESPGHAN.
