In this review we resume the recent recommendations for diagnosis and management of Cholestatic Jaundice (CJ) formulated by Cholestatis Guideline Committee and approved by NASPGHN and ESPGHAN. The CJ is a rare but potentially serious problem that requests early detection by primary care physician. This is a summary of practical guidelines and the expert’s comment explains the applicability of this recommendation to daily clinical practice.
