Esophageal atresia (EA) is one of the most common congenital digestive anomalies. Gastroesophageal reflux (GER) is a frequent complication in children with EA. Routine endoscopy in asymptomatic EA patients is recommended and the expert panel recommends 3 endoscopies throughout childhood (1 after stopping PPI therapy, 1 before the age of 10 years, and 1 at transition to adulthood).
