There are no prior published evidence-based guidelines specifically for children at risk, or affected by polyposis syndromes. In paediatric practice, timing of diagnosis, ageand frequency of endoscopy are not standardized and will vary across clinicians and between different countries. ESPGHAN polyposis working group made recommendations based on the literature and expert opinion, specifically on diagnosis, assessment, screening and treatment to assist the paediatric gastroenterologist involved in the care of paediatric polyposis syndromes.
